Capital doesn't avoid Ukraine because the returns aren't there. It avoids what it can't see. Oniks is the layer between Ukrainian companies and the investors who should be funding them — verified numbers, real diligence, done on the ground.
From the outside, the whole country reads as a single headline. From the inside, it's thousands of companies still shipping, still growing, still hiring — most of them invisible to the funds that would back them. The problem was never risk appetite. It was that nobody was doing the work to tell one company apart from the next. That's our work.
We vet before we list
Financials, cap table, founders — checked, not assumed.
We publish numbers, not narratives
An investor abroad reads facts, not a pitch.
We stay in after the intro
The relationship doesn’t end at a warm email.

Anyone can host a directory of startups. Oniks is built to do the harder thing — turn a fragmented, hard-to-reach market into something an investor abroad can actually underwrite.
Now
Verified company data that travels — so a fund in Berlin can read a company in Kharkiv as clearly as one down the street.
Next
A live read on where Ukrainian capital is moving — sectors, valuations, momentum. The intelligence a recovery economy runs on.
Founder & CEO
Maksym studied and worked in finance across Europe while staying close to the ground in Ukraine. From both sides he kept seeing the same thing: European capital that wanted exposure to Ukraine, and Ukrainian companies that couldn't get a meeting — separated by nothing but missing information.
He started Oniks to close that gap. The background is economics, venture, and private equity; the mission is plainer than that — make Ukraine investable, one company at a time.
